Is Jesus the Lord? How to prove if Jesus is Lord? How to prove Jesus is not just a man or a prophet?

We human beings pray to God for whatever we need. So usually whenever we need something we turn to Him. This is the superficial way of looking at this relationship. But at the deep level, there is one more. We turn to God so that we can be away from God’s enemy. Every religion accepts God has an enemy and this enemy is called ‘Satan’, ‘devil’ and his legions are called ‘evil spirits’, ‘demons’.

God is the creator, meaning only He has the power to create a human being. God’s enemy Satan does not have this power. However he can bring this human being under his control. This is possible. So that’s why Satan always tries to bring God’s children, us humans, under his control. This is a sure way to instigate, defeat God and all he wants is to defeat God. Since God is the creator what better way than taking His children away from Him? So this means we are being used here in this battle between God and Satan. Because there is no other way Satan can fight with God. Because man has a free will to choose, he is the best battleground between God and Satan. God will want the man to be with Him while Satan will want the man to be away from and detest God. This means the human being does not have any power over God or Satan. That power is not vested with him. We have been given the free will to choose but not any power at all in this battle. So if I want to choose God I should denounce Satan and vice versa. [I, the author, talk about denouncing, driving away Satan because I have had first hand experience in driving demons in the name of Jesus and because I regularly encounter evil spirits and drive them away, I always talk about them as entities and not as evil thoughts, words, actions. Of course, this is how these evil things manifest themselves in human beings. Now these are how human beings can relate to Satan but I am talking about real dark forces that make their presence known to us].

This also means if I don’t want Satan around me and if I say ‘Satan go away’, Satan doesn’t have to actually go away. The power to actually make it go away is not with us. It is with God. Only God can make it go away. But when the Satan is around me and when it is trying to bring me under his control and my words don’t have any power over him, what can I do? Am I helpless here? No. I am not helpless here. I can call God and tell Him to make the Satan go away from me. Because God is my creator and pray to Him for help, it is very natural that He would make the Satan go away.

Keeping this in mind and going back to the question, if Jesus is Lord, then definitely He has the power to drive away Satan. If Jesus is not Lord, he cannot drive the demon. Simple concept. Now because I can drive a demon in the name of Jesus, it clearly means He is Lord. I cannot drive out a demon in the name of a Prophet because, after all, he is only a human being. A prophet can talk to God but he cannot take it upon himself to fight with God's enemy. Only God can do that.
